PNP, AFP, Coast Guard Personnel Can Now Enjoy Bus Fare Discounts

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) had quite recently marked on Monday a notice of assention (MOA) that allowed individuals from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), a 20-percent charge markdown in all city and common open utility transports (PUBs).



As per Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade, the charge limits given to those effectively serving the military was in accordance with President Rodrigo Duterte's mandate in respecting the people in uniform.
